Global Discourse Series II 2023 – Bridge Over Troubled Waters: Navigating the China-US Narrative

The relationship between China and the United States has been marked by periods of tension and cooperation over the years. Recently, a series of events have further exacerbated this dynamic, including the Chinese Spy Balloon Incident, the Chinese Foreign Minister’s Visit to Moscow amidst the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian Conflict, and the Delegation of US continuing to visit Taiwan in defiance of Beijing. These incidents have underscored the deep-rooted differences between the two countries, highlighting the challenges of navigating the China-US narrative. As the world watches the ongoing development, it is important to understand the nuances of the situation and explore potential solutions to ease tensions and promote stability.
