The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected people’s mental health. Prolonged lockdowns, growing rate of unemployment, and what’s worse, we have to cope with sudden deaths of the people around us due to coronavirus.
In Malaysia, COVID-19 infections is now at its peak. There is no certainty on when the pandemic will be over. During this uncanny time, we would like to extend our hand to help those who are in grief and to guide people on how we can be a better listener to our friends who lost their loved ones.
Together with SpeakToUs, Higher Education Malaysian Association (HEYA) cordially organize a listening skills workshop with these two focuses:
1. Self Help: Overcoming the death of loved ones (COVID-19)
2. Helping Others: Being a listener (COVID-19)
You are not alone in this journey of grief, we are here to care and support. 💕
