National Students Advocacy Workshop (NaSA) x Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)

The Ministry of Higher Education has made a recent declaration regarding its intention to promote student autonomy and empowerment.
This move is expected to promote a more inclusive and participatory approach to education, where students are encouraged to voice their opinions and contribute to decision-making processes that directly impact their education.
HEYA, in collaboration with MPP UiTM, will be organizing the National Students Advocacy Workshop (NaSA) on the 11th of June 2023 (Sunday). This workshop aims to empower students and youth leaders by equipping them with the pivotal organizational knowledge and management skills to accelerate the formation of independent and effective student unions. Two modules will be conducted during NaSA – “Managing a Team Effectively” and “Agility Thinking with Scientific Problem Solving Skills”
Additionally, the workshop will focus on student union reform consultation that aims to collect input and feedback that would be channeled to the Ministry of Higher Education for the upcoming AUKU reform. By providing a platform for students and youth leaders to come together and learn from experts in the field, this workshop seeks to create a brighter future for students and their unions.
