China has the world’s largest population of 1.4 billion people and is the third largest country by territory in 2021. With the rapidness of economic development, China is now the second largest economic powerhouse. To date, China is still Malaysia’s largest trading partner for 12 consecutive years; with new investment plans continuing to come in.
However, these questions remain:
– What impact would China’s geopolitical policies have on ordinary people in Southeast Asia?
– Will China ever overtake the United States as the world’s superpower?
– Is China still an impoverished nation, or has it become wealthy and powerful?
After all, what do the Chinese truly want?
